Biografía

Sixx A.M. está formado por el bajista de Mötley Crüe, Nikki Sixx, el cantautor James Michael, y el guitarrista de Guns 'n' Roses DJ Ashba.
El proyecto hardrock surge cuando en el año 2007 Nikki Sixx decide lanzar un libro titulado The Heroin Diaries con un Soundtrack adicional de donde se desprende el single "Life is Beautiful", canción que sería la más escuchada del hardrock del 2008. Recientemente, la banda se ha vuelto a juntar dando vida a "This is Gonna Hurt", segundo disco y segundo sountrack del best seller "This is Gonna Hurt".

“I think this record ended up affecting all of us on a much deeper level than we thought it would,”Michael says. “The album is about being honest with yourself. When you sit down and start really acknowledging who you are and how you behave towards other people and how you judge other people, it’s gonna be painful. This is gonna hurt.”
